Travels with my suitcase; from Tasmania in search of sound (Book + CD + Download Card)
$45.00 – $70.00
A musician on the road travels with an ear to the ground. Tales of suitcases, sculptures and instrumental characters collide in a compendium of discoveries across the island state of Tasmania, to southern Europe and back. A travelogue memoir with lyrics and jottings from a community artist and a sub plot – There is no Planet B
Travelling can become an obsession, as can music. Put the two together and it’s a recipe for adventure with a capital A. Before COVID hit, Teresa took off to Europe in search of fabulous music and instrumental characters on the world stage … and found them.
9 tracks were written by Teresa to correspond with various anecdotes in the book, bringing another level of atmosphere to the stories.
The album of music accompanies the printed book in the form of CD and download card, while the audiobook marries the narrative with the soundtrack.
The album of music is also available as a separate CD or download card.
